Ready to post your first question or discussion? Here's how to do it:
1) Go to the discussion board in which you'd like to post your question or discussion. Here's an overview of the current discussion boards we have available:
- Community Help & Feedback: for general questions about using the Fivetran Community.
- Using Fivetran: Product related questions and discussions
- Developer Forum: Developer focused questions and discussions
- Working with Data: General best practices and advice for data professionals
2) Click New Post.
3) Create your post following the steps below (see image below for reference):
Step 1: Enter the title of your question or discussion in the Subject field.
Step 2: Add more details and context for your question or discussion in the Body section. When applicable, include screenshots or other supporting media using the message editor toolbar.
Step 3: Choose one or more Labels for your discussion by clicking on each relevant Label in the Choose a Label section.
Step 4: Enable or disable email notifications when someone replies to your question or discussion by checking or un-checking Email me when someone replies. This is enabled by default.
Step 5: Click Post to submit your question or discussion.
Note: You can also create a post directly from the home page. If you use this option, there is an extra step to select the Board for your question or discussion in the Select Location field. Once you select the Board, the page will refresh and the Labels available for that Board will appear.
